Our Story

Chickadee & Pine grew from our love of making things — gardens, spaces, and moments that invite people to slow down.

I dream up projects; Dimitri builds them. He’s a glass artist whose work fills the cabins with light and warmth (and he keeps the woodpiles high enough to outlast any Whidbey winter). I find joy in hosting, tending the gardens, and blending small-batch bath products inspired by our outdoor tubs. Together with our daughter, Dimitri is designing a new line of handmade glassware — pieces you’ll see and use during your stay.
